Every study Bible has cross-references. They sit in the margin as a column of abbreviations, and to follow one you turn the page and lose your place. Follow three and you have lost the thread entirely.

Bible Strands lays them out instead. You pull a verse onto a canvas, and the verses it connects to come with it — by cross-reference, by a shared word in the Hebrew or Greek, by standing on the same ground centuries apart. Keep pulling and a theme takes a shape you can see.

Follow the threads

Hundreds of thousands of cross-references, each weighted by how many readers judged the two verses to belong together — so the strongest connections come first.

Down to the word

Every word tagged to its Hebrew or Greek original. Read a verse in literal word order, and find every other place that same word stands, whatever the English does with it.

On the ground

Hundreds of places on a map, under the names they went by at the time, each one opening the verses set there.

“A cord of three strands is not quickly broken.” Ecclesiastes 4:12
