A warm, short letter to a young church he had left in a hurry, answering their worry about believers who had died.
What to watch for
It is the oldest Christian writing we have, and already assumes the resurrection as settled fact.
Brothers, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you will not grieve like the rest, who are without hope.1 Thessalonians 4:13
