Leviticus
- Who
- Traditionally Moses, with the same question over it as the rest of the Torah.
- When
- Set at Sinai, in the year after the exodus.
- What it is
- Instructions for worship and for ordinary life, given to a people who now have God living in the middle of their camp.
- What to watch for
- It is the book most readers abandon. The question it keeps answering is not how to be good but how the holy and the ordinary can share a camp safely.
Do not seek revenge or bear a grudge against any of your people, but love your neighbor as yourself. I am the LORD.Leviticus 19:18
