Zephaniah

Who

Zephaniah, whose genealogy is traced back four generations to Hezekiah.

When

During Josiah's reign, 640 to 609 BC.

What it is

The day of the LORD announced against Judah and the nations, and then a remnant left quiet and unafraid.

What to watch for

It ends with God singing, which is not a thing the Old Testament says anywhere else.

The LORD your God is among you; He is mighty to save. He will rejoice over you with gladness; He will quiet you with His love; He will rejoice over you with singing.”Zephaniah 3:17
