The Gospel every tradition hands a first reader, a chapter a day for three weeks — and out of each chapter, one thread followed to where it lands.

Five steps a day: read the chapter, notice three things, follow one thread out of it, keep one question, and mark the day done. The fourth step is the one only this site can do — the cross-references, the nearest verse in meaning and the Greek or Hebrew root behind a word, rather than somebody else's commentary.
